I just fell in love with this elephant and found him so charming. He has weathered nicely. 2oth Century, aluminium so he will not rust should you wish to keep him in the garden. A very decorative piece that currently looks lovely in my house !!
It is a common superstition that an elephant should always face the door to bring good luck into the house. It also protects the home when facing the entrance making sure only good fortune passes through. When the trunk is raised it is said that the elephant will shower good fortune.
