18th Century exceptional carving, original soft gilt, both sides are finely carved and shown in the pictures, I am not sure what it was originally on, maybe a bed with both sides carved, the detail is wonderful, I have added a ring and old chain, this is removable if you don’t want to use it as a hanging. The below height does not include the chain, there is currently 27″ of chain that could be cut as needed.
