A fabulous pair of antique French 19th Century Aubusson chairs, I just adore the parrots. The soft tones of the Aubusson is wonderful and may well be late 18th Century. Original paint, soft gilding. There is light age related wear to both seats at the back as shown and to be expected, this just adds to the charm and authenticity of the chairs. Structurally sound and strong although I would not recommend heavy use on the Aubusson. They came from a privately owed castle in France. Floor to seat 15.5″. Seat depth 19″.
