Antique 17th Century tapestry half screen, this would also make a wonderful wall panel in any room or behind a bed. The tapestry is 17th Century it was converted to the screen in the late 18th Century. The back is a very fine silk but shows signs of age as shown. A special piece. The width below is when the panel is flat. Age related wear to the tapestry, a few stitched repairs, all to be expected and in keeping.
