Rare 19th Century French box covered in antique French wallpaper. This is first time I have seen or owned a double decker one. The paper obviously shows signs of wear with marks etc, as to be expected, please use your cursor to scan all over any image on my website to magnify the area. There are stains to the bottom of the paper in the box, you could easily recover over them with paper if required. A rare piece in the original much loved condition. The box is sound. Lift top to the first section, then by opening the side catches the below section opens. A fabulous antique French wallpaper box.
