c1780 rare period Rococo Swedish clock from Harjedalen, scraped to the original paint. The case is richly carved including the Anchor for stability and the Mercury Rod for the trade. The movement is most likely made in Eskilstuna. Although the two weights, pendulum and the key are included the clock is sold as a piece of art, not a time keeper. I cannot guarantee the work of the movement, although clients do get such clocks working. This 18th Century clock is truly wonderful.
In sections for transport – clock face, glass fronted clock face cover, final, main body, weights, key, pendulum.
