A beautiful early 20th Century parasol. The painted detail is so pretty along with the layers of lace. There is a charming dragonfly on the handle. There was probably a paste stone at the end of the handle years ago. While the silk is in good condition for the age, I would strongly recommend that the parasol is not opened fully as this is likely to rip the covering. A lovely display piece. “oh so pretty”
