A delightful pair of antique English chairs in the original paint. George III style, circa 1900. Each chair has a different putti and painted garrya swags, one chair remains a wonderful depository label of Archer Cowley and Co Ltd, Removals and Warehousing, Oxford. The paint has naturally worn and aged. Seat depth 17″, floor to seat 17″. There is no damage to the cane seats. You can scan all over the chairs with your cursor to magnify the lovely soft detail.
