Exceptional early 19th Century c1810 Gustavian bench / sofa. Original paint that has been refreshed in areas. A very classical piece with griffin detail in the centre. Both ends of the bench have a large beautiful rare syrinx, as shown in picture 8 & 9. A truly stunning period Swedish bench for any room. The seat has been upholstered in linen in the traditional Swedish style along with 2 bolster cushions.
