Late 17th – early 18th Century Italian chair, wonderful carved arms, lion paw feet, I believe it is the original fabric, it could obviously be replaced. A period statement chair. A few traces of historic worm, they have long gone and the chair has been treated, nothing that detracts or effects the stability of the chair, the frame at the base is slightly twisted, again just age, structurally sound and strong. A grand size chair.
