A great pair of tall original salmon traps that would make a nice feature in the garden. Putcher fishing is a type of fishing usually for Salmon, the pitcher baskets are set against the tide in a river estuary, notably on the River Severn and South East Wales, these were introduced in the 1940s – 1950s.
